Sketch/Design by: Jordan Jones
As Kaslo is a historical town it is important the architectural style incorporates inspiration from heritage buildings. When final designs are completed I will have a poll open to the public (residents of Kaslo) in which votes can be cast for the design which they feel best suits Kaslo. In the interim if anyone has any comments or suggestions referring to this design sketch that would be extremely helpful!
Hey Jordan this elevation looks great, however I am curious to see how the south elvation will look in order to allow for sunlight? Any Ideas yet?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment! Yes, I definately need to find a way to allow light in from the South. It might be a little difficult because there is no good view in that direction.
ReplyDeleteHey Jordan,
ReplyDeleteI think this type of architecture would fit into kaslo's more modern side. It looks good.
Thanks Morgan. I was trying to create something that would be more on the modern side while incorporating enough aspects of heritage design that it would not look out of place.
ReplyDeleteAre there other building with arches windows in the area? They appear a bit out of place to me. Otherwise it is a good looking design!
